Subscriptions and billing
The Subscriptions tab of your account is where you choose a plan, keep your billing details and payment cards up to date, and see your invoices. Payments are handled by Stripe.
INFO
On-premises installations don't have this tab. Their license is managed separately, see On premises.
Billing details
Fill in your billing details as you want them to appear on your invoices:
- Company name and email. Invoices are sent to this email address.
- Address, city, zip / postal code and country.
- State, required for addresses in the United States.
- EU VAT number, required for companies in the EU. Taskforce.sh checks the number with the EU VIES service. If VIES is temporarily unavailable, you can still save, and the number is checked later by our payment provider.
Your country also sets the currency of your plans: EUR for EU countries and USD for the rest of the world. Once you have a subscription, all your subscriptions use its currency.
Payment cards
Under Your cards, click Add card to add a credit or debit card. You're taken to a secure Stripe page to enter it, and your card details never reach Taskforce.sh's servers.
If you have several cards, select the one to charge by default. Click the cross next to a card to remove it.
TIP
If you need to pay by purchase order instead of by card, contact us at admin@taskforce.sh.
Choose a plan
Under Available plans, choose whether to pay monthly or yearly, then pick a plan and click Update. Yearly plans save you about two months compared with paying monthly. You need a card on file before you can subscribe. Current prices are on taskforce.sh.
Products billed per unit have a quantity field; set the quantity you need.
Manage your subscription
Under Your subscriptions you can see when each subscription started and which plans it includes. Change a plan or a quantity and click Update to apply it.
Below each subscription, Next invoice shows what you'll be charged and when, line by line, with the subtotal, tax and total.
Cancel
Click Cancel and confirm to cancel a subscription. It stays active until the end of the current billing period, and the subscription shows the date it ends.
Invoices
The Invoices table lists all your invoices with their number, date, period, amount and status: Paid, Open or Payment Failed.
Pay a failed or open invoice
If a payment fails, for example because a card expired, a banner at the top of the app tells you how many invoices are unpaid and the total amount. Click View & Pay Now to go to your invoices.
Click the pay button next to an open or failed invoice:
- If you have a card on file, the invoice is charged to it right away. Update your cards first if the old one no longer works.
- If you don't have a card, you're taken to a Stripe page where you can add one and pay.
Pay unpaid invoices promptly to avoid any interruption to your service.
